24 Hours in Ischia, Italy: Ferry from Naples, Via Roma + Aragonese Castle
Ferry from Naples, Ischia Porto, Via Roma, the Aragonese Castle, and one of the most beautiful island stops in southern Italy.
Ischia feels like the Capri that somehow stayed a little more grounded. It’s volcanic, lush, crowded in summer, and ridiculously beautiful. This is the fast version: how to get there, where to stay, what to eat, and what’s actually worth your time if you’ve only got one day.

Quick Tips
There is no airport on Ischia, so you’re coming in by ferry.
Ischia Porto is extremely walkable if you’re only doing a quick overnight or day trip.
Via Roma is the main evening strip, and it gets busy once the beach crowd comes back in.
If you want to see more of the island next time, rent a scooter near the port and keep moving.
